Rockport Marine has been a client since 2010. Their initial website build was based on a custom Content Management System which allowed limited control of certain areas of content within the site.
Several years later, Rockport Marine worked with a different company to redesign the website, building it instead on the Wordpress content management platform to allow greater control of editing the content.
In 2018, Rockport Marine came back to 5iveLeaf Design Studio to once again redesign the website. This time we designed and developed a custom Wordpress theme, building the website from the ground up to suit their needs rather than relying on a pre-built theme with the limitations that brings.
What resulted was a powerful website still built on the Wordpress platform to allow a great deal of control over content in-house, while being able to keep the site performant since it doesn't rely on the bloated code of a third-party Wordpress theme.
