1 We'll Talk
We will learn a bit about your business. We will ask about your likes and dislikes with regards to colors, typefaces, ideas. If you are starting from scratch, we'll learn about your goals for your business and any ideas you may already have for your logo. Our logo design work generally also includes a business card design.
2 Proposal
Once we've discussed pricing of your project, and our timeline for being able to complete the work, if you're ready to move forward we'll put together a formal proposal/contract. If you're in agreement to the work as outlined, we'll collect the signed contract from you along with a retainer for 1/2 of the estimated project cost.
3 Design
Now that we've collected your retainer and signed contract, the fun begins. In the first round, we provide you with 3-5 initial concepts to review. You can then make up to 3 rounds of revisions to each of those concepts to reach your vision. If additional rounds of revisions are needed, we can certainly discuss doing so, though we've rarely ever needed more than three.
4 Finalize
Once we've finalized your logo design, we'll provide you with files which you can use for print or screens. The files will include a variety of sizes and file formats along with our recommendations for when to use which size and format. You'll have everything you need to provide to printers and other graphics professionals to create all manner of items to promote your business.
At this time we will also create the business card design and provide a print-ready file for that as well. We can also make recommendations for printers if needed.
You will be given a final invoice for the logo design work which will be the total actual cost of the project minus the previously collected retainer. This will be due within 14 days.
If at any point you find you need a specific image file for a purpose, we are more than happy to assist with putting one together matching whatever specifications are required, from social media graphics to advertisements.
